Increase interlayer cohesion with thermal treatment
For functional MEX (FDM) 3D printed parts, he anisotropy can be a major challenge. To minimize this anisotropy, the interlayer cohesion has to be increased. There are different known approaches like increasing the extrusion temperature or decreasing the printing speed, which all lead to some improvement.
New ways of thermal treatment shall be investigated and implemented to increase the cohesion.
