CECIMO is the European machine tool industry association and has recently published the third edition of its European study. In this one, the focus is on additive manufacturing. The study was conducted over a six-month period and examines the following four areas for its trend evaluation: Imports, Exports, Materials Used and Industries. Overall, the results of the study are quite positive: The companies surveyed state that they want to continue investing in additive manufacturing, as they are convinced of the benefits of the technology for the industry.
